Ali Burton returns to radio in Mix 104.9’s Drive slot

Ali Burton is back on air at Darwin’s Mix 104.9, however she won’t be returning to the Breakfast slot.

Instead, she will take up the Drive position from 3pm to 7pm on the Grant Broadcasters station.

Burton was previously on air alongside Greg Vincent in Breakfast. Vincent left last year, and Burton has also been on extended leave in recent months.

It has thus far been unclear when Burton would return.

In her absence, Drive presenter Andrew Thain had been occupying the Breakfast chair. Then last week it was revealed Sarah Passalick would permanently join Thain in the Breakfast slot.

And now, Burton will return, taking Thain’s spot in Drive.

According to the local NT News, Burton said she is excited to reconnect with her listeners.
