When is a TV show not a TV show? When it’s a visualised podcast

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck, right?

Not necessarily.

Take, for example, The Traitors: Uncloaked. It airs on UK television, it’s viewed in prime time, it features well-known top talent and a load of exclusive extras.

It sure does look like a TV show. But it’s not. It’s a ‘visualised podcast.’

In the UK, production company Listen is celebrating 1.24 million viewers of the show, which airs on BBC 2 Television.

But host Ed Gamble says it’s nothing like a TV show, actually.

“It’s an in-vision format for your eyes that you can also hear with your ears.”

The Traitors: Uncloaked is set to be a first of its kind companion podcast, built for the fans while pushing the format forward.
