Tyla’s ‘Water’ receives a deluge of spins – AirCheck

Breakthrough South African act Tyla has debuted at No. 23 on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with ‘Water’. Sydney’s CADA notched up a nation-leading tally of 63 spins, more than double the next best station (101.9 The Fox). The Nova network added a handful of nights spins for the ARIA Gold-certified single.

Kenya Grace’s trending hit ‘Strangers’ makes a move to No. 22 after starting off at No. 40 last week. CADA led the charge once again, backed up strongly by the Hit Network. Despite debuting a fortnight ago, ‘Strangers’ has been on radio playlists for 14 weeks, scoring its first spin on triple j in early September.

‘Dreaming’ by Marshmello, P!nk & Sting steams into the Top 10 with a spins gain of 33.9%. The reworked number is proving to be a favourite across a variety of formats, from CHR to classic. Nova stations averaged 42.6 spins across all major metro markets.
