SEN plays both sides this State of Origin

Sports Entertainment Network will give Blues and Maroons fans the opportunity to enjoy unashamedly biased commentary for their respective teams during the 2022 State of Origin Series.

Three different calls will be available within the SEN app, digital stations and radio network: Blues RadioMaroons Radio and a neutral call, SEN Origin Live.

The Run Home with Joel & Fletch host Joel Caine will lead the Blues Radio commentary, with former NSW representatives Brett Kimmorley and Mark ‘Spud’ Carroll getting behind their former team with special comments.

Blues fans can find the parochial commentary on 1170 SEN and the SEN app and syndicated through regional NSW.

NSW Blues Advisor Greg ‘Brandy’ Alexander will be giving inner sanctum analysis on Breakfast with Vossy & Brandy in the lead-up and post each match on 1170 SEN.

Those who only want to hear everything through the Maroon looking glass will have the same chance.

Games 1 and 2 will be available on leading Queensland stations including SENQ (DAB+), SENTrack Brisbane 1053AM and SEN Gold Coast 1620AM, along with the SEN app.

Game 3 will also be called on the soon to be launched SENQ 693AM radio frequency, with Mark Braybrook leading the Queensland commentary alongside Origin and Kangaroos legend Gary Belcher.

Neutral fans who want a more traditional call still have that option, with SEN Origin Live to be called right down the middle by SEN broadcasters Jimmy Smith and Scott Sattler.

SEN Content Manager – NSW & QLD, Jeremy Markham, said, “We always aim to provide our listeners with the most engaging content and know that Origin fans are amongst the most passionate supporters throughout Australia. Giving them the option of unashamedly biased commentary will no doubt further heightening the enjoyment of the game as they cheer along knowing the commentators are on their side!”
