SAFM’s Bec & Soda surprise Travis Boak with milestone billboard

A very special billboard will hit the streets of Adelaide today, all thanks to SAFM’s Bec & Soda.

The brekky show team organised it as a surprise for Port Adelaide’s Travis Boak, in celebration of his 350th AFL game this weekend.

Boak spoke candidly about his feelings heading into the big game:

“I’m a human being first and athlete second.”

“It has just become more about enjoyment of playing footy, not so much about my identity.”

“People in the street and everyone sees me as a footballer. It’s the human first.”
