Ryan Papenhuyzen’s return live on SEN this weekend

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will cover the much-anticipated return of Melbourne Storm’s Ryan Papenhuyzen this weekend, as he runs on for the Hostplus Cup.

After staying off the field for 384 days to nurse a severe knee injury, Ryan will lace the boots up for Storm’s feeder club, the Sunshine Coast Falcons, as they take on the Ipswich Jets.

Andrew McCullough and Drury Forbes will cover all the action on SENQ 693amSEN Gold Coast 1620am, and SEN 1170am as the Falcons and Jets face off for a spot in the top eight.

Fans outside the northern states can catch the return via the SEN App.

“This Hostplus Cup season has already been full of excitement, but Ryan’s much-anticipated return to the game with the Falcons has truly set the rugby league community abuzz,” said SEN QLD Content Manager Jason Matthews.

“The entire rugby league world was heartbroken when Ryan suffered his injury last year, and we’ve all been cheering him on from the sidelines as he’s gone through long and extensive rehabilitation. We can’t wait to bring fans all the action on SEN as he takes the field this Saturday.”

“With a massive crowd expected, the atmosphere will be electric, and we are delighted to bring that excitement directly to our listeners through the SEN airwaves.”

The action kicks off at 5pm AEST this Saturday on SENQ 693am, SEN Gold Coast 1620am, SEN 1170am and the SEN App.
