Mix 102.3’s mural surprise for diehard Port Adelaide fan
This week on Mix102.3’s Max & Ali in the Morning, diehard Port Adelaide fan Bel got a Ken Hinkley mural plastered on her garage door.
The 43-year-old mum from Morphett Vale rang the station on Monday to prove that she was the most dedicated Ken fan by agreeing to get a mural of the Power coach at the front of her house.
Bel said “Kenny is King. He is the greatest coach there is going. I absolutely adore him and I would love to have him on my house. I would represent Port Power cause they are legends!”
During the brekky show, she proved just that, as the team at Mix102.3 covered her garage door with a 1.45m x 1.995m mural of Port coach Ken Hinkley – dressed as a King.
When the mural was revealed, Bel laughed hysterically, saying “Oh my God, he looks so cute, what a cutie patootie!”
“He’s King Hinkley, alright, I tell ya! He’s staying up there forever, bless him!”
“The haters are gonna hate. I don’t care!”
Bel lives with her partner Michael and 10-year-old daughter Marlee, who are also massive Port fans.
Really? A mural? Lacking creative ideas I see. Bring Shane back .
