Ex-Hit92.9 host Ryan Jon heads to business streaming network Ticker

Ryan Jon has landed a new gig hosting a program on new Australian streaming network Ticker.

Ticker claims to be the first dedicated streaming platform for business news in the country, and the former Hit Network host is getting his own show called On The Download.

Known for his social media prowess as much as his time as a radio host (most recently on Breakfast at Hit92.9 Perth), John’s program will be a look at the changing face of the digital media industry.

From breaking down media industry headlines to interviewing podcasters, YouTubers, influencers, musicians and industry experts, On The Download will provide John a platform to continue his great track record of digital content.

“Those who know me know that I love to roll my sleeves up and create, I love to innovate and I love to learn and it feels like the possibilities are endless working in a small start up like Ticker,” Jon says.

On The Download will air on Ticker at 11am each Wednesday, and is one of three new shows unveiled this week.

Ticker can be accessed via the official app and website, as well as on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn channels.
