Rising Australian talent Kita Alexander next up in Nova’s Red Room

Australian singer and songwriter Kita Alexander is the next to take to Nova’s Red Room stage  in Melbourne on Thursday, June 6. She will perform a live 30-minute set for around 300 Nova listeners in front of the stained-glass windows of Chapel off Chapel.

This will be the first Red Room hosting job for Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips, co-hosts of the Nova 100 breakfast show Jase & Lauren. The exclusive 18+ event will feature Kita’s latest single, ‘Zodiac’ and more from her debut album Young In Love.

Alexander said:

“I am so excited to perform at Nova’s Red Room. This is hugely special. I can’t wait to play songs from my new album in Melbourne with you all. Thank you, Nova, for having me.”

Alexander’s music has already garnered over 285 million global streams including the 2 x ARIA Gold singles ‘Damage Done’ and ‘Like You Want To’, the ARIA Platinum ‘Between you & I’ and the single ‘Hotel’ plus three EPs.

Nova’s Red Room has seen intimate sets from global stars like Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Lizzo, Miley Cyrus, Tones And I, G Flip and Billie Eilish.
