How can Kate Tim and Joel be the number one national drive show and yet rate SIXTH
in Sydney, Australia’s most important market. Even Will and Woody are beating them. No doubt they are lot cheaper than Joel Creasey and Kate Fisher. Nova has gone downhill lately.
How can Chrissie Sam and Browny be Melbournes most listened to breakfast show ? It’s easily Melbournes most expensive show and rates fifth – just doesn’t add up to me.

Explanation: The statement is based on ‘cume’ (that is total number of listeners) not share. Statements from other stations are based on share of market. Can’t directly compare apples and oranges. Every station looks for its best message based on how it targets advertisers.
SEN is only rating 0.2% at breakfast but I reckon they should claim they are number one too!
