Podfest returns to Adelaide Writers’ Festival in 2025
This year’s Adelaide Writers’ Festival will again feature live recordings of some of Australia’s most popular podcasts, from true crime to politics and culture.
It’s part of the new initiative Podfest, which offers audiences the chance to witness the magic of podcasting, up close and personal.
There are 8 ticketed events, which include:
Sat 1 Mar, 12pm: True Crime: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly with Dan Box, Hedley Thomas, Rachel Brown and Meshel Laurie
Sat 1 Mar, 2:30pm: If You’re Listening with Matt Bevan
Sat 1 Mar, 3:45pm: Double A Chattery with Amanda Keller and Anita McGregor
Sun 2 Mar, 2:30pm: Ladies We Need to Talk: How to Live Dangerously with Yumi Stynes with Anna Broinowski, Gina Chick and Jessie Tu
Sun 2 Mar, 3:45pm: Black Magic Woman with Mundanara Bayles
Tue 4 Mar, 6:15pm: Not Stupid with Julia Baird and Jeremy Fernandez
Wed 5 Mar, 6:15pm: All In the Mind: The Magic of Memory with Sana Qadar
Thu 6 Mar, 6:15pm: Book Cheat with Dave Warneke
As well, Radio National’s Jonathan Green will co-host Breakfast with Papers, which returns to the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden on the West Stage from 8am each morning of Adelaide Writers’ Week.
