Nova 100 Shake-Up
Nova Sydney’s Greg Burns, will now also be heard in Melbourne on Nova 100. Greg’s arrival is just the start with Dan Cassin also joining the Melbourne line-up in the New Year from Sydney.
Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director said,
“2017 is set to be another huge year for Nova 100. The show that everyone is talking about, Chrissie, Sam & Browny, will return in breakfast. With Kate, Tim & Marty, Australia’s most listened to Drive show, at the other end of the day, and two world class announcers joining the team for our workday, we can’t wait to get cracking.”
Greg Burns joined Nova Sydney in July on Mornings this year after hosting the number one Drive show in the UK on Capital Radio for eight years. Dan Cassin, with 17 years under his belt, joined Nova 969 in 2015 and is on Arvos.
From January 9 Greg Burns will join Nova 100’s workday line-up from 9am with Dan Cassin from 1pm, Kate, Tim & Marty will return to Drive and Smallzy’s Surgery in evenings. Chrissie, Sam & Browny will return in Breakfast from mid-January.
The only locally hosted show on Nova 100 will now be the Breakfast Show, and this change sees current Nova100 daytime hosts Jaben and Sarah Maree leave the network.
Peter Colosimo, NOVA Entertainment’s Melbourne General Manager said, “Jaben and Sarah Maree are both talented broadcasters. We would like to thank them for their passion and contribution during their time with Nova and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
