New podcast unravels infamous Melbourne cold case

ARN’s iHeart and Casefile have announced the launch of a bone-chilling new podcast, The Easey Street Murders, which unravels one of Australia’s most haunting cold cases.

Listeners on the iHeart app will have access to binge the entire series from launch, with episodes dropping weekly on all other podcast platforms.

Forty-seven years ago, tragedy struck Easey Street, Collingwood, when Susan Bartlett and Suzanne Armstrong were brutally murdered in their own home.

Despite a million-dollar reward and years of investigation, justice remains elusive and the question lingers: who is responsible?

Award-winning journalist Helen Thomas has dedicated over a decade to unravelling the mysteries behind Susan and Suzanne’s tragic deaths.

Casefile Presents: The Easey Street Murders takes listeners on an immersive journey into the heart of the investigation.

“We know that justice delayed is justice denied. But after nearly 50 years, how long much longer do Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett have to wait for their killer to be found?” says Thomas.

ARN’s Head of Digital Audio Corey Layton says “Casefile continues to deliver stories that capture the imagination of Australians, and the unsolved Easey Street Murders are no different. This unique partnership enables audiences to listen to the podcast weekly wherever they get their podcasts, or to binge every episode now via the iHeart app.”
