Kyle & Jackie O contract rumours addressed: “No decision has been made”

Jackie O Henderson has responded to rumours that her and Kyle Sandilands are taking The Kyle & Jackie O Show to Melbourne Breakfast, shutting down the speculation. 

In an interview with Studio 10’s Angela Bishop, Jackie O and her manager Gemma O’Neill addressed the rumours when Angela asked if the pair would renew their contract with KIIS next year.

“There’s nothing to announce yet,” Gemma said. 

“They are hot property. They’ve obviously established a really successful brand … and what a great place to be in to have people interested.”

When asked if securing a national show would be the clincher in the next deal, Jackie O said, “I don’t know that would necessarily be the case for me.”

“I think there’s a lot more to it than adding on an extra city, I think that would be a privilege to do, but it certainly wouldn’t be the only reason, no,” she said.

“There’s a lot to weigh up I think.”

Jackie O’s manager Gemma clarified that the rumours are just that at this point.

“No decision’s been made, and I know it’s important who you work with and where you feel valued.”  

The interview also explored Jackie O and best friend Gemma’s relationship and new business venture, Besties.

Unveiling Besties on The Kyle & Jackie O Show last week, Jackie O said, “The name of the company is besties. We will offer a space where best friends come together for exclusive guest speaker events, private holidays and luxe products – all for you and your BFF.”
