KIIS host Ryan Jon joins Movember movement

Melbourne native Ryan Jon, of ARN’s KIIS has kick-started the month by posting a promotional video on Facebook showing his support for the men’s mental health charity Movember.

The KIIS 9am-3pm weekdays radio host has shaved his beard to grow a moustache from scratch on a mission to raise money to support men’s mental health. Watch on Facebook https://fb.watch/8_G2LjJKv7/

“For years Movember has been supporting a range of men’s health issues including suicide prevention,” says Ryan.

“To show my support I’m going to grow a moustache from scratch.”

Ryan will be working in partnership with Coles and Koi Skincare to donate $1 to the Movember Foundation for every Koi skincare product sold at Coles.

According to the Australian Institute of Family Studies, up to 25% of Australian men have experienced a diagnosed mental health disorder in their lifetime, and 15% experienced a disorder in any 12-month period. Only a quarter of men surveyed said they would seek out help if they were experiencing problems.
