Juelz Jarry joins Hit Network’s Weekend Breakfast

Staff Writer

The Hit Network’s Weekend Breakfast has added a new co-host to its lineup.

The show has previously been hosted by Dylan Alcott and Angus O’Loughlin, with O’Loughlin joking they needed extra help.

“The bosses said we weren’t good enough last year as a duo, so we needed you, and we were happy for the help,” he said on air.

Jarry joked that she was the bit of flavour that the show needed.

Jarry has transferred from within the network, previously hosting Hit 92.9 Breakfast in Perth alongside Xavier Ellis and Pete Curulli, as part of Xavier, Juelz & Pete.

Late last year, the station shifted to become part of the Triple M Network, with Ellis joining the new station’s Breakfast lineup alongside Perth Lord Mayor and former 6PR co-host Basil Zempilas and journalist Jenna Clarke. Ellis, meanwhile, moved across to SCA stablemate Mix 94.5, which joined the Hit Network. He replaced radio stalwart Dean ‘Clairsy’ Clairs to form the Pete, Matt & Kymba show with Matt Dyktynski and Kymba Cahill.

She’s done the hard yards in her career and is still grateful for every opportunity she gets

Well done Juelz!!! One of radio’s hardest workers. She is an amazing talent and a lovely person and I’m sure her star will continue to rise. It’s great to see someone so deserving who started in regional on a national show. Go Juelz!!!!!!
