Jeff Fenech: “Kyle is one of the most loyal people you’ll ever meet”

Jeff Fenech is proud to call Kyle Sandilands a close mate.

Fenech was among the select few to score an invitation to Sandilands’ recent wedding to Tegan Kynaston in Sydney, where the Australian boxing legend rubbed shoulders with likes of PM Anthony Albanese.

One of radio’s most polarising figures, Sandilands has attracted his share of negative headlines, but speaking on the latest Life of Brian … Mannix That Is podcast, Fenech offers a different perspective.

“I’ve known Kyle for a long time. I used to train him. I helped him when he was losing some weight.”

“Kyle for me is a very, very special human. If you’re his friend, he’s one of the most loyal people you’ll ever meet.”

And loyalty is a quality Fenech holds dear.

“Loyalty is everything. My dad taught me one thing: He said ‘You go out with your friends, son, you go home with your friends.’”

Fenech says he will never forget the people who have helped him, nor those who have hurt him.

He counts Sandilands among the good guys.
