“It feels like the right time to go back home and reload for the next adventure”- Anthony Stefanos departs Triple M Central Queensland
Anthony Stefanos is departing Triple M Central Queensland and the breakfast show he has co-hosted with Shannon ‘Pinky’ Neven (both pictured) for the last two years.
Anthony is returning to Melbourne telling Pinky on air, “it feels like the right time to go back home and reload for the next adventure.” This is his last week.
Justin ‘JL’ Loomans will take over Anthony’s role for the time being. JL is already well known to locals and listeners. Rockhampton born and Central Queensland raised he played 79 NRL games including as part of the North Queensland Cowboys inaugural season.
He joined Triple M as part of the B Team where he is currently heard on air Saturday mornings and he would join Pinky and Anthony on Monday mornings for a weekend sports wrap. He and Pinky have been friends and sparring partners on air a long time. A proud family man and natural story teller (just ask him!) he has strong roots in Central Queensland and is passionate about promoting the region.
