iHeart’s Double A Chattery podcast celebrates 100 episodes

Reporter

Radio host Amanda Keller and forensic psychologist Anita McGregor are celebrating a major milestone today, with the 100th episode of their Double A Chattery podcast.

Born from long walks around their neighbourhoods and over cups of tea, the podcast offers listeners a weekly mix of smart, funny, topical and sometimes delightfully irreverent conversation.

From toilet humour to thoughtful reflections on everyday life, Amanda and Anita have created a show that feels like chatting with your best friend – whether about the things everyone’s talking about, or the things no one dares to mention.

To mark their 100th episode, Amanda and Anita have created a special ‘Ask Us Anything’ edition. In this celebratory episode, they answer listener questions that range from the heartfelt to the hilarious, including how their friendship began (hint: it involves a kilt and ballroom dancing), what they’ve learned about privacy and vulnerability and why feedback hits them each very differently.

Reflecting on the milestone, Amanda said, “Welcome to 100 episodes! What does that say to you, Anita? In the media, reaching 100 is a big deal – especially in a landscape where things come and go. I’m really proud of us, and we couldn’t have done it without our listeners, our teacups, and the amazing support, love, and story ideas we’ve received along the way.”

Anita said “It feels like we just started yesterday, yet at the same time, it feels like we’ve been doing this forever. Amanda has been a wonderful guide, and our producer Alyssa even made us an incredible cake with colours you don’t see in nature to celebrate this milestone. We’re so grateful for the incredible support of our listeners – it’s made this journey so rewarding.”

You can listen to Double A Chattery’s 100th episode now on the free iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts.

I’m thoroughly enjoying your podcast. Two that particularly stand out are Melanie and Jess’ story discussing asymptomatic renal failure and bringing Amanda’s husband on to discuss his journey with Parkinson’s disease. These stories help us to understand what other people are going through and want may be happening in the lives of people around us right now. Thank you for your enlightening stories and, Amanda, you are very eloquent and your voice is so soothing!
