Hit100.9’s Jimmy & Nath become ‘Pie Guys’ for grand final weekend

Hit100.9‘s Jimmy and Nath took it upon themselves to ensure that grand final parties over the weekend would be sufficiently stocked up with pies.

The Hit Hobart Brekky team, aka The Pie Guys, travelled around to visit as many parties as possible ‘pie all means necessary’, while listeners called in and nominated their party for a pie drop.

They were accompanied by the Sauce Sister, to make sure there wasn’t a ‘dry pie in the house.’

“We don’t want to say we’re heroes, but we did wear capes… ok, they were at the front… ok, so they were aprons,” said Nath.

“The reception at people’s houses was incredible; we didn’t mean to im-PIE-se (impose) at all, or for our welcome to ex-PIE-er (expire), the temptation to occu-PIE (occupy) people’s parties was too great!” added Jimmy.
