SCA’s newly rebranded RedFM gets new Hit WA Breakfast show

Former Assistant Editor

Hit WA’s new state-wide regional Breakfast duo is Allan Aldworth and Michelle Anderson.

Allan & Michelle will be heard across all Hit Network regional stations, including the recently rebranded RedFM stations in Karratha, Broome, Port Hedland and Geraldton.

Aldworth moves to the slow from his previous gig on Breakfast at Hit Bunbury, while Anderson is relocating from Brisbane for the new show.

“There was clear chemistry between Allan and Michelle when we heard their first demo. This is going to be incredibly fun radio for WA,” said head of content for Hit WA, Tim Arnold.

Allan & Michelle will begin their Breakfast show on March 16.

“I’m so excited to broadcast across the great state I’ve grown up in. I’m as giddy as a kid before Christmas and I just can’t wait for us to be unleashed across WA,” said Aldworth.

“It’s great to be working at Hit WA on such an exciting new adventure with an exciting new co-host,” added Anderson.

“Plus, I’ve always wanted to drive one of those oversized mining trucks and possibly run over my ex’s car. With this new move I feel I’m inching ever closer to my lifelong dreams.”

Hit Breakfast with Allan & Michelle will be heard across the below stations:

  • Hit 106.5 – Karratha
  • Hit 101.3 – Broome
  • Hit 91.7 – Port Hedland
  • Hit 96.5 – Geraldton

WA people, count yourselves lucky to be getting such a rad person in Michelle. I’ve listened to her for years on River 94.9 and I’m going to miss her. Please come back Michelle!
