Hamish & Andy still rule in latest Australian Podcast Ranker

With well over 800,000 monthly listens, LiSTNR duo Hamish & Andy continue to hold down the #1 spot in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker, released today by Commercial Radio & Audio (CRA) in partnership with Triton Digital.

But it’s the news-based podcasts which continue to dominate the overall state of play.

ABC News Top Stories remains in second spot.

Mamamia Out Loud, Shameless – which jumped 7 places to #4 – and Sky News Australia Update round out the top 5.

Grant Tothill, Executive Head LiSTNR Operations and Audience, said “Hamish & Andy continue to perform very strongly, claiming the top spot once again on the Australian Podcast Ranker, reaching 813,500 monthly listeners.” 

“Dan Does Footy, The Imperfects and Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki also feature in the Top 20 podcasts of the All Australian Triton Top 300, a testament to the consistency of these homegrown podcasts and the work of the teams who continue to deliver best in class content.”

September is a big month for Sport with strong engagement across original and radio podcasts, including The Howie Games at #27, Triple M Rocks AFL up to #31, Triple M Rocks NRL up to #39 and The Rush Hour with JB & Billy up to #49.”

Also notable was the rise of the SEN Breakfast podcast, moving up three places into the top 10 and taking the the crown as Australia’s #1 breakfast radio podcast.
