Full steam ahead for Tom Denham
Thomas The Tank Engine was a huge part of Tom Denham’s childhood, fostering his love of all things trains.
Now, the former producer of Triple M’s Night Shift with Luke Bona is well and truly living his life’s passion, as the host and co-producer of the official Thomas and Friends podcast.
Published by Mattel, the podcast marks the 80th anniversary since the first Thomas The Tank Engine book was released.

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Tom said “It’s been a massive adventure collecting a vast range of interviews from people connected to the stories from the books, the original TV show to present to help celebrate the 80th anniversary since the first book was released.”
“A huge thank you to former Thomas and Friends show producer Ian McCue and the good people at Mattel for the opportunity.”
For several years, Tom was head of production on the Australian end of An Unlikely Fandom, a feel-good documentary in which people from around the world expressed why their love for Thomas has never gone away.

Since Triple M’s Night Shift wrapped up in February, Tom has also moved on to casual producing roles at 2GB and the ABC.
Episode 1 of the official Thomas and Friends 80 year anniversary podcast is available now on all platforms.
