Dominant showing by Triple M in Newcastle Survey 1

102.9 Triple M has enjoyed a dominant showing in Newcastle’s GfK Survey 1 for 2023.
It went up from 17.0 to 22.0 overall, with Hit 106.9 its closest rival, up from 13.0 to 15.8.
In Breakfast, Triple M continued to hold down top spot, up from 20.0 to 20.9. Next was Hit 106.9, which saw a sizeable gain – up from 12.0 to 17.5.

Yeah these guys from Triple M and Hit! Hard working, visible across the market, always doing the extra little things to make it a great listening experience. So well deserved.
Poor old Richard show is so predictable. First caller is the incomprehendable Craig. What a way to turn off listeners.
NewFM needs a refresh. Newcastle is dominated basically with SCA and Super Radio Networks. They need another player in this market offering an alternative. ARN with a KIIS offering would be a good fit.
