Dave Hughes on the challenges of Sydney radio

2Day FM breakfast host Dave Hughes admits it’s been quite the challenge trying to crack the Sydney radio market.
This week, the comedian – who’s part of The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed and Erin – tells The Australian “The Sydney market is very established.”
Hughes says there are breakfast shows that have been on in Sydney for a decade or more, with rusted-on audiences.
“We were were starting from nothing really in terms of trying to get people to change their habits.”
2Day breakfast gained one share point to rate 4.2 in the breakfast timeslot in survey 2.

Good old Hughesy, it would be lot easier to connect and compete in Sydney if he moved to Sydney as SCA said he was going to. 2Dayfm rated a 4.2 not 5.2 as per your article.
You guys need to pay more attention to detail because you seem to make a lot of mistakes
2DAY is not rating 5.2% in breakfast, it is rating 4.2%!!
