Changes at the top in Melbourne FM Breakfast

Today’s GfK survey 5 results have heralded significant changes at the top in Melbourne FM Breakfast radio.

Fifi, Fev & Nick from 101.9 The Fox are popping the champagne corks after claiming the mantle as the city’s new No. 1 FM Breakfast show, which had been held by Gold 104.3’s The Christian O’Connell Show for the previous 25 surveys.

The Fox team of Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody say they’re beyond excited, after taking top spot with a 9.4% audience share.

Smoothfm holds down second spot in Melbourne FM Breakfast with Gold in third.

On the AM dial, 3AW enjoyed big gains in Breakfast and Mornings, however there was a further drop in Afternoons, the shift previously hosted by Dee Dee Dunleavy, which is yet to be officially filled.
