Broad Radio launches podcast and livestream business

Broad Radio this week announced the launch of Broad Generation, a full-service podcast and livestream business.

Designed for people with a story to tell or brands who are keen to engage with their audience in a more meaningful way, Broad Generation provides sound production, editing, copywriting and marketing services.

Broad Radio is also currently developing a new app and is encouraging listeners to stay tuned:

“It took a village, and we’re thrilled to see our app come to life. We will be launching new shows, new tech and our new studio in the coming months.”

Broad Radio is the brainchild of radio and TV presenter Jo Stanley, that started as a simple idea: Radio for women, by women.

When Broad Radio first launched in 2020, Stanley told Radio Today said the idea came to her not because of commercial radio’s failings to cater to women of a certain age, but because people are craving deeper, more inspiring conversations – the type of conversation which has been drawing people increasingly to podcasts.

“We’re at a different life stage. We want things that are perhaps more inspiring women, or more about the juggle of motherhood and ageing parents and work, or more about understanding who we are in different ways as our children get older.”
