Brittney dumps High Scrollers co-host and launches nationwide search for his replacement

Brittney Saunders just kicked her podcast co-host to the kerb (well, kind of) and now she’s launching a nationwide search for his replacement – no media experience, fame or filters required.

In the latest episode of High Scrollers – fittingly titled Matt’s Being Replaced – the Aussie influencer and fashion CEO announced that her regular co-host Matt Hey has “f**ked off to Europe,” leaving her to fly solo for a few episodes.

But rather than filling the seat with another celeb, Britt’s turning to her fans.

She’s officially opening up applications for someone – literally anyone – to join her in-studio as a guest co-host and record a full episode with her.

“This could be life-changing, really,” Britt said. “If someone comes on and does well, who knows what opportunities might open for them?”

The chosen winner will be flown to Sydney, sit side-by-side with Britt in the Nova Podcast studios and co-host an episode of High Scrollers – the no-holds-barred series where the duo dive into the weirdest and wildest corners of the internet, pop culture and everyday life online.

There’s no need for a radio reel or a blue tick.

“You just need to be confident, have some funny stories, and come with your takes on what’s trending,” Britt says. “Treat it like a 60-second resume.”

Think of it as the podcast version of The Voice, only instead of singing, you’ll be spilling hot takes, telling hilarious stories and potentially launching a new career in front of the mic. More info here.

New episodes of High Scrollers are released twice weekly on Tuesdays and Friday. Listeners can find the latest eps on the Nova Player or wherever they get their podcasts.
