Brave on-air revelation from Mix 102.3 host Ali Clarke

Mix 102.3 Breakfast host Ali Clarke has today bravely revealed on air to her co-hosts Max Burford and Shane Lowe – as well as her Adelaide audience – that she has never known her biological father.

The Ali Clarke Breakfast Show has been working with one of Australia’s top private investigators to help two audience members uncover some of their own family secrets.

Ali explains “We have all been on the journey with  Nicole and Bronwyn as they have tracked down their birth fathers and have been able to get some answers to some incredibly sensitive and private parts of their lives.”

“Seeing this, I now just want to do the same.”

Ali revealed to listeners that her never knowing her birth father has, until now, remained a big secret.

“I have never talked about this, I don’t know anything about my biological dad and his family, or if I have brothers or sisters.”

“All I know about my birth dad is that mum left him, and the only other real memory I have is in primary school – one day my mum told me he had passed away. We never spoke about it again. I don’t even know if there was a funeral.”

Ali says her stepdad is her dad.

“He was the one who walked me down the aisle and he was the man who I have shared my life growing up with.”

Listeners will be taken on Ali’s journey over the coming weeks as a private investigator endeavours to find out about her birth dad.
