AmplifyCBR leads conversation on coercive control

Reporter

AmplifyCBR is leading a conversation about coercive control and its role in domestic and family violence in our society, with the launch of Reach Out Speak Up on Thursday November 21.

The campaign throws light on coercive control and how to identify it – either as a victim or an actively engaged bystander – as well as how to step in and stop it.

The day will be dedicated to conversations around coercive control and the impact it’s having.

Both Hit 104.7 and Mix 106.3 will launch Reach Out Speak Up Day with the Breakfast shows – Wilko & Courts and Kristen & Nige – spending the morning lifting the lid on coercive control and speaking with victims, community leaders and frontline workers who are dealing with domestic and family violence every day.

These conversations will continue across the workday and into Rod & Gabi’s Canberra Wrapped on Mix 106.3.

The message will be supported by a highly visible social media campaign, created in-house.

Reachoutspeakup.com.au will also house the Reach Out Speak Up podcast episodes, hosted by some of the amplifyCBR on-air team.
