Roo & Ditts executive producer Alice James departs

Former Editor & Content Director

The executive producer of Triple M Adelaide’s Roo & Ditts show, Alice James, is leaving radio.

James has been with the program for over six years, but has made the decision to move back to her hometown of Melbourne.

In Melbourne, James will be taking up a publicity role with Channel 7.

On Thursday’s program, hosts Mark Ricciuto (Roo) and Chris Dittmar (Ditts) reflected on James’ insatiable love of KFC, the Collingwood Football Club and Adelaide venue The Woolshed.

A number of personalities phoned in to farewell James including ‘Horses’ singer Daryl Braithwaite.

On-air on Friday, James said the Breakfast show has the best culture and she’s had so much fun every day coming to work.

Jarryd Nerlich, currently the EP of Rush Hour with Bernie & Jars from 6pm to 7pm, will replace James on the Breakfast show.

In the most recent ratings, Triple M Adelaide had a 10.5% share in Breakfast, only behind Fm-leader Mix 102.3 (11.8%) and FiveAA (15.5%).
