91.9 Sea FM now home of ‘Sunny Coast Hits’ with new logo

91.9 Sea FM on the Sunshine Coast has unveiled a brand new logo with a new positioning statement to boot.

Sea FM is now the home of ‘Sunny Coast Hits’, and follows the announcement of new Drive show Elly & Becks.

The logo sees bold red text used for the logo, and in the announcement from EON Broadcasting the station called it a “fresh, bold and clean design: which “reflects the updated on-air sound” of the station.

Elly & Becks

“We wanted a fresh, clean, bold new look for 91.9 SEA FM, that also reflects the dynamic shows we have in Breakfast and Drive while being the only regional hit music station to be live and local from 6am to 6pm,” said 91.9 SEA FM group marketing director Brooke Bennett.

“It really showcases that 91.9 SEA FM is all about Sunny Coast Hits.”

BarRat & Heidi

“91.9 SEA FMs new look is more than just a logo change,” explained content chief Luke Toohey.

“It’s symbolic of our drive to super serve the Sunshine Coast with entertaining and engaging local radio.

“In BarRat & Heidi for breakfast and our new local drive team Elly & Becks we have local shows dedicated to taking the pain of the Nicklin Way shuffle or Motorway crawl away and leaving you up to date and with a smile on your face.

“When it comes to music, Sunny Coast Hits, isn’t a slogan it’s a guarantee. Every song we play from the new stuff to the old school is one you’ll know and remember”.

That logo is as bold and dynamic as the hot30 logo in the early 2000s. Just sayin…

Good to see them shake the old SCA logo and pushing local content when many others are doing the opposite.

Some solid talent in the lineup, a winning combination.

Fresh, clean & bold.

Like toothpaste.

Minty.

mmmmm….smile, slo-mo, pan & tilt, fade to new logo, knock on my door and hand me a stapled paper survey diary…
