4BC’s 2025 live and local lineup locked in
4BC has announced its 2025 radio lineup and will be the only radio station in Brisbane delivering live and local content from 5:30am – 7pm.
Peter Fegan will host Breakfast and Gary Hardgrave Drive. They have been caretaking those roles since September and both are very familiar to Brisbane audiences.
From 9.00am, Bill McDonald continues to lead 4BC Mornings, at midday Sofie Formica returns for Afternoons and Peter Psaltis anchors Wide World of Sports from 6-7pm.
4BC Content Manager, Siobhain McDonnell, said:
“This lineup reflects 4BC’s unwavering commitment to delivering live and local content. Each host brings a deep-rooted understanding of Brisbane’s needs, and together, they will forge meaningful connections with our audience.
Brisbane is experiencing unprecedented growth, and this team is ready to lead the conversations that matter most to our vibrant, evolving community. With our state-of-the-art studios set for 2025, 4BC is poised to deliver a gold-standard audio experience, ensuring the very best content no matter where our listeners are tuning in.”
4BC’s Monday – Friday lineup:
• Breakfast with Peter Fegan 5.30am – 9.00am
• Mornings with Bill McDonald 9.00am – 12.00pm
• Afternoons with Sofie Formica 12.00pm – 3.00pm
• Drive with Gary Hardgrave 3.00pm – 6.00pm
• WWOS with Peter Psaltis 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Great to see that 9 are continuing to invest in local radio and not just sending us back to listening to 2GB
It’s understandable, BMAD is the cash cow of any station, talk formats should have made bank largely by midday.
However, would be inclusive if Nine recognised their outstanding young female talent, Olympia Kwitowski on weekend breakfast.
News wrap, local stories, real estate and thankfully not too much gardening.
Now 4BC’s only local weekend program. Provides excellent continuity to maintain the habit for weekday listening.
Great to know Sofie Formica will be back. She is a sensational radio host.
How about giving Jason Dasey a full time gig?
OK let me see if I got this correct, a few months back 4BCs ratings were at an all time low and the powers that be indicated that the station needs to wipe the slate clean and start over and now we hear that the same mob will be back in 2025, really,I stopped listening months ago because I just found them boring..it seems that in the radio industry today that if you’re successful you get the boot but if you fail you’re promoted.Obviously 4BC want to be cellar dwellers forever..????
