Stav, Abby & Matt’s triple j audition

Hit105‘s Breakfast team were discussing triple j‘s broadcast of Splendour In The Grass this weekend just gone, and Matt couldn’t help but notice how the hosts over at the public broadcaster do things a bit differently.

Matty then began to imitate triple j’s relaxed announcer aesthetic, introducing a “tune man” by a band “3.7 kilometres outside of Byron Bay” called The Egg & Spoons.

As Abby and Stav began to get in on the act, the trio started to wonder how triple j hosts would impersonate them if given the chance.

The Hit105 hosts then launched into a discussion about how Ed Sheeran sold-out because “success isn’t cool, man”.
