Ash London’s first break on 2DayFM Breakfast
2DayFM Breakfast has entered the post-Em Rusciano era, with Nights host Ash London making the temporary move to join Grant Denyer and Ed Kavalee on the much-maligned show.
Ahead of her move to the show, London tweeted a request for some interesting stories from her followers to use on the show.
Did anyone have anything funny happen to them this week that I can steal and pretend happened to me for my first day on brekky radio tomorrow? Turns out all I do is work and sleep. Shit.

Her first break saw the obligatory welcoming from her co-hosts Grant and Ed, as well as a shout-out to the recently departed Rusciano.
The show’s intro has also been altered, to “2DayFM Breakfast with Grant Denyer and Ed Kavalee.”
The three appear to have reasonable chemistry, which grew as the show went on as well, but the network will hope that the trio will become more polished over the coming weeks as they get to know Ash better.
SCA have remained tight-lipped on who may replace Rusciano in the long-term, with London currently the hot tip although she is currently only set to stay with the show until the end of 2018.
2DayFM has updated the social skins and advertising for the show, which now features only Denyer and Kavalee.
Remember to set your alarm, Sydney! Wake up with Grant Denyer & Ed Kavalee tomorrow morning from 6AM!

Em Rusciano will return later in the year as a guest presenter when Grant Denyer is set to be away.
