Wave FM have a ball with the kids

A great local promotion from Wave FM in Wollongong over the past few weeks, with the annual Wave FM Footy Boot Camp.

Over 1000 kids from across the Illawarra registered for the chance to be one of the 120 selected to have skills training from NRL stars Shaun Timmons, Matt Cooper, Jason Ryles, Mario 'The Falcon' Fenech, and the star of The Footy Show Beau Ryan.

Emma from Wave FM's Hot Breakfast show said;

"Seeing the kids faces light up when they received their goodie bags filled with drink bottles, caps and even a football was only matched by the excitement of rubbing shoulders with the footy legends who attended. 

Countless parents, grandparents and caregivers complimented us on how well organised and efficiently the day ran and couldn't have been more thrilled that their child was chosen to be participate. 

For me personally, it was my first footy boot camp and I thoroughly every minute and was disappointed the day had to end".
