triple j reveals 2024 J Awards nominees

Ausmusic Month is here and to kick things off, triple j has revealed the nominees for the 2024 J Awards.  

Now in its 20th year, the J Awards mark triple j’s annual recognition of the very best in Australian music. From the country’s biggest international breakouts to the hottest emerging acts right now, more than 25 local artists have scored a nomination for their contribution to Australian music over the past year.

Winners of the five award categories will be announced on Thursday, 14 November.

Throughout November, triple j is celebrating all things Aussie music, starting today with the J Award Nominees and 24 hours of all local artists spinning across triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed. triple j’s Like A Version and Live at the Wireless will also feature a stacked line-up of Australian talent all month long, and there’s Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on Thursday 28 November.
