The SCA Hubble: bring on the talent

Staff Writer

Southern Cross Austereo’s “Hubble” talent development program has entered a new phase with the launch of a new rotating roster on Triple M Modern Digital.

The rotating show will air from 12-2pm weekdays and will initially feature 11 different personalities, including existing hosts Zach Miller and Josh Perring.

Among those joining them on the roster will be comedian Michelle Brasier, celebrity chef Tobie Puttock and online entertainers Tim McDonald and Sammy Garlepp.

Hubble was launched in February and was designed to discover and develop the “next generation” of radio personalities and is already bearing fruit. Hubble rookies Luke and Lewis can now be heard on Melbourne’s 101.9 Fox on Sunday evenings

“People love personality-driven radio, but to date, no one has invested the time, money and resources into developing the next generation, so we established Hubble”, says chief creative officer Guy Dobson.

“We have been absolutely blown away by the caliber of people we’ve discovered through Hubble and continue to welcome new submissions via www.hubbletalentsearch.com.”
