NOVA Entertainment has announced the national FM launch of The Jermaine Plane.

Hosted by Jermaine D’Vauz, the high-energy weekend evening music program airs every Saturday at 5pm across the Nova Network.

Originally launched in July 2024 on Nova Throwbacks, The Jermaine Plane quickly gained momentum, with listeners tuning in on DAB+ and streaming nationally through the Nova Player. In April this year, The Jermaine Plane podcast was launched.

Following its strong digital debut, the show is now expanding its reach across FM radio in all five major metro markets.

The Jermaine Plane plays non-stop hits from the 1990s and 2000s. The show acts as the ultimate Saturday night warm-up; beginning with smooth R&B, rising into high-energy pop and concluding with dance anthems that transition into Nova Nation from 6pm.

Jermaine brings a creative edge and deep love for music to the show, combining nostalgia with storytelling, pop culture and a feel-good energy which Nova says resonates with its national audience.

Jermaine says the response so far has been amazing.

“Listeners like Karen from Sydney, who won tickets to MJ The Musical on the first show, said, ‘it’s completely my era!’ It’s exactly the kind of feedback I hoped for.”

Going national is a dream come true for Jermaine.

“Taking The Jermaine Plane across Australia on FM means so much to me, both personally and professionally. I grew up with this music and now I get to share it with listeners nationwide every week.’

Sarah McGilvray, Program Director Network Shows, Nova Network, said “We’re so proud to welcome Jermaine to Nova’s national FM line-up. He’s poured so much heart into the show and that passion shines through. Jermaine has such a genuine connection with both the music and our audience, it’s what makes this show so special. We can’t wait for even more listeners around the country to get on board.”

The Jermaine Plane now airs every Saturday at 5pm across Nova 96.9 Sydney, Nova 100 Melbourne, Nova 106.9 Brisbane, Nova 93.7 Perth and Nova 919 Adelaide. The show is also available via DAB+ and on-demand through the Nova Player app.
