Finding joy when the world feels disconnected: Nova’s Jermaine D’Vauz launches new podcast
Jermaine D’Vauz is a creative force to be reckoned with.
Just a few short months after landing his own national radio show on Friday nights, the Digital Content Producer for Nova’s top-rating Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel Drive show has now launched a new podcast called The Jermaine Plane.

The podcast is an extension of his radio show of the same name, which airs weekly on Nova Throwbacks.
Jermaine began his broadcasting journey in Perth as an announcer on Nova 93.7, later moving to Sydney to join Kyle & Jackie O as the video producer at KIIS.
Having gone on to work as Digital Content Producer for Fitzy & Wippa, in 2022, Jermaine joined Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, and has been there ever since.

Through his new podcast, Jermaine aims to reconnect listeners with their inner child by revisiting the music, memories and pop culture moments of the 90s and 2000s.
Each week, Jermaine is joined by a special co-pilot – from pop stars to cultural voices – to unpack the throwbacks that shaped their lives and careers.
It might be a chart-topping anthem. A TV moment burned into our memory. Even the smell of an old video game case.
For Jermaine, it’s all about blending entertainment with intention.
“I’m on a mission to come back to myself in a time where the world feels disconnected,” he says.
“This podcast isn’t just about nostalgia – it’s about healing, remembering, and using the music and culture of the past to feel more empowered in the present.”

Recent episodes feature pop star Samantha Jade, who talks candidly about the body image pressures tied to her U.S. record deal.
In other eps, the Take That boys open up about their lost songs and the writing behind their most iconic tracks, The Tierney Brothers share what it was like touring with Michael Jackson and Nova’s own Ricki-Lee (pictured above with Jermaine) bares all – revealing never-before-heard stories from inside the reality TV machine.
Jermaine says at its core, the podcast is about more than nostalgia—it’s about reclaiming joy, honouring your younger self, and finding connection in a world that often feels disconnected.
It’s a love letter to our youth – and a reminder that sometimes, the past holds the clearest mirror to who we are now.
New episodes of The Jermaine Plane podcast land every Monday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and the Nova Player app. The podcast runs alongside Jermaine’s weekly radio show on Nova Throwbacks, airing Friday nights across Australia. You can also hear Jermaine live on-air every Sunday afternoon nationally on the Nova network.
