Tanya & Steve ink new three-year deal at Triple M Newcastle

Fresh off taking out the ACRA for Best Sales Promotion (Non-Metro) over the weekend, Triple M Newscastle’s Tanya Wilks and Steve Grahame have signed a new deal with SCA.

The Breakfast duo, #1 in the Newcastle Radio Ratings for the past 11 surveys, have signed for at least another three years.

Tanya & Steve have been on-air together for over 20 years and remained with Triple M Newcastle when it rebranded from KOFM in 2018.

“Being asked to sign on for another three years was an absolute no brainer for Steve and I. As a loud and proud Novocastrian, there is no place I’d rather be than in the Triple M studios waking up our wonderful listeners and having a laugh with my bestie,” Tanya said.

“The intimacy and immediacy of radio allows us to connect with the community we love and that’s a huge privilege I don’t take for granted.”

Steve added; “Not sure what you mean, Tanya told me I was signing a get well card and I trust her with my life…”

As of the most recent ratings survey (August 2019), the duo have an 18.5% share of listening (+0.2) among People 10+.
