Australian Audio Award winners featured on Apple Podcasts

Apple Podcasts have featured the winners and finalists of the Australian Audio Awards this week.

Apple Podcast users opening their apps will see the black and gold awards logo in the featured carousel. Clicking on it will take users to a scrolling menu of the winners podcasts. If you scroll down further, you will see each finalist also featured by category.

New podcast shows and episodes launch every day. Being featured helps podcasters find their audience.

When it was announced at the conclusion of the awards that Apple Podcasts would be doing a feature, many of the podcasters in the room were heard to say how important that is in highlighting their work and generating increased downloads.

The Australian Audio Awards are the first to include all sectors of the radio industry and podcasts in one single national audio awards competition. Award founders Steve Ahern and Tim Burrowes joined their publications Radioinfo, RadioToday and Mumbrella together to create the awards.
