Guy Ashford leaves Super Radio Network

A short email to staff today from Super Radio Network CEO Graham Mott broke the news that Guy Ashford has left his position as Manager of 2HD and New FM.

His departure follows an incident of unwanted touching at last week’s Australian Audio Awards. The incident was the subject of an investigation into the matter by the CEO.

The short note to staff said Guy Ashford is “no longer employed by the Super Radio Network.”

The email said the company will now begin a search for a new general manager for its Newcastle stations..
