Sydneysiders invited to ABC Radio celebration

Sydneysiders are being invited to a special radio celebration next month.

To mark 100 years of ABC Radio in Sydney, Sarah Macdonald will broadcast a special edition of Mornings on Thursday November 23, live from the new auditorium at the State Library of New South Wales.

Sarah and special guests will share their memories of ABC Radio Sydney through the years and explore how Australia’s first radio station has woven itself into the fabric of the Harbour City.

Afterwards, guests can view a special State Library display which maps the evolution of 2SB to 2BL and then to ABC Radio Sydney.
