Steve Blanda’s return is smooth

He’s one of the industry’s most respected news readers and winner of a record 18 ACRAs, and it was announced he was joining Sydney’s smoothfm last week. Today, Steve Blanda debuted with his first bulletin on the new station.

It’s Steve’s first read outside 2UE after having spent 17 years on 954. Steve has over 40 years in radio including 15 years on 2WS and 17 years on 2UE, until he took a voluntary redundandancy following the merging of the Fairfax and Macquarie Radio Networks. He joined Nova Entertainment today.
