Station changes name to celebrate local cricketer

Heart 107.3 in Hobart are changing their name today.

As Tasmanian cricketer George Bailey makes his test debut for Australia in The Ashes today, the station have seized the moment and will change to George 107.3

They are receiving lots of good luck messages from their listeners via the below Facebook post and will pass them onto George when Kim & Dave chat to him prior to the start of the first day.

The theme continues until 5pm and will see the station roll out some music features like playing songs from George Michael, George Thorogood, George Harrison, Boy George etc. They will also put greatest hit songs from Australia up against UK hits in a 'Face Off'.
