Spotify releases Loud & Clear report into music streaming

Spotify Australia has released its local report into music streaming for the second year running.

Loud & Clear offers fresh insight for artists, the industry and fans worldwide into what Spotify is seeing in its data and beyond.

Who is generating money? How much are they making? And how has that changed over the years?

The stats reflect that Australia is a music export powerhouse, with more than 80% of all royalties generated by Australian artists on Spotify from listeners outside Australia including the U.S, UK and Germany.

There’s more money in the music industry than ever before and the data we shared from our latest Loud & Clear report shows that more and more artists are sharing in that revenue and building careers.”
