Special bonus ep: All the highlights from 2025 CBAA Conference

Today we bring you a special episode of the Radio Today podcast, with all the highlights from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) conference, which wrapped up in Hobart at the weekend.

Jen reviews the event and we hear from several conference speakers, including ABC Radio Sydney Breakfast presenter Craig Reucassel, who joined Steve Ahern to reflect on his career to date and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

His first career lesson was: “Enjoy the fun and freedom when you have it. It’s a lot harder to have fun when there’s editorial policies and lawyers in the picture.”

His second lesson was “Value the people you meet along the way in your career journey.”

We also hear from CBAA board member Dave Houchin from 3RRR and CBAA Music Director Andrew Khedoori.

And this week’s RCS Media Monitors National Radio Airplay Chart Song of the Week is a new collaboration by three of music’s hottest names.
