Simon Diaz joins Smooth

dmg Radio Australia have hired Simon Diaz as floater and to fill a support role for operations with smoothfm.

smoothfm Program Director Rohan Brown commented;

“Over the Christmas period Simon proved himself as a class performer and to have someone of his calibre backing up our talented on air team is brilliant news for the continued growth of smooth.”

 Diaz spent 13 years with Mix 101.1 in Melbourne before leaving in November 2012 (see earlier story here).

He will start with dmg immediately, based in Melbourne, and will be initially heard on Afternoons replacing Byron Webb who is on leave.
