Shane Crawford joins Jase & Lauren ahead of Hawks v Cats blockbuster

This morning on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, Hawks legend Shane Crawford joined Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway in the studio ahead of tonight’s blockbuster AFL Preliminary Final clash between fierce rivals Hawthorn and Geelong.

With plenty of history between the two clubs and a Grand Final spot on the line, Crawf shared his nerves about the Hawks’ chances, revealed the cheeky texts he’s been sending to coach Sam Mitchell this season and weighed in on who he thinks might win Monday night’s Brownlow Medal.

Lauren: “You’ve won a Brownlow before. The Brownlow is on Monday night. Is it Nick Daicos?”

Shane: “I don’t think it’s that simple. No, I think Noah Anderson from the Suns is going to get a lot of votes… very much. Dawson from Adelaide will get a lot of votes, but I think Nick Daicos can sneak across the line. But look out for Noah Anderson from the Suns, who’s a very, very good player.”
